The Bridge program begins in July and provides an introduction to the Akilah Institute’s high academic expectations. During this program students will meet their instructors and mentors, and begin to set academic goals for their future education and career. The program is designed to introduce and develop skills in English, Mathematics and Information Technology. The Bridge program is mandatory for all incoming students.

Evening & Weekend

Akilah is now offering an Evening & Weekend program option for our accredited Hospitality Management diploma on a more flexible schedule for working professionals and women with other commitments during the day. Students will receive all the same benefits as day students including access to our career office (powered by MindSky), our extensive network of employer partners, extracurricular activities (including our debate club, Rwandan national champions!) and much more.

Tuition & Financial Aid

All students must pay tuition (see our program costs here). Akilah offers a loan program for students of the Akilah Institute who demonstrate financial need. In order to participate, students must apply and make a payment of 30% (or 15%) of tuition by the tuition payment deadline. Students who are determined eligible will be offered acceptance into the program, and must formally accept this offer prior to the agreement deadline.
