Fill the Pineapple!
Akilah would like to invite all of our friends and supporters to participate in this year’s Fill the Pineapple grassroots fundraising campaign and help us reach our goal of raising $50,000 to cover the cost of education for this academic year. The pineapple is the symbol of hospitality, today the fastest growing sector of the Rwandan economy. Akilah students receive an education in Hospitality Management so that they can find meaningful employment in this thriving industry, allowing them to raise themselves and their families from poverty. You can make a profound difference in the lives of these young women by setting up your own campaign to raise funds for scholarships, textbooks, school lunch, and other items!
