  • We are seeking a leader who has proven experience in delivering exceptional marketing impact, and a demonstrated ability to lead and build the capabilities of a driven, bright and diverse team
  • You have management experience in a marketing or advertising agency setting and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
  • You have the ability to think and lead strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into planning, with the ability to manage at both a strategic and operational level across multiple initiatives
  • You’ll partner with our Head of Creative to execute strategies that leverage our social channels to grow our audiences and meet the marketing goals of the organization
  • You possess the ability to balance the delivery of award-winning campaigns against the realities of a budget, timeline, and competing projects and priorities; and you have an attitude of problem-solving and creative resourcefulness
  • Our ideal candidate will be passionate about bringing creative content to life across multiple distribution channels while adhering to resource, budget, and timeline constraints

Responsibilities: Strategy, Operations, Partnerships and PR

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives within the organization
  • Direct all marketing initiatives to ensure they are coordinated, support established goals and are optimized to achieve success
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact, fielding questions, troubleshooting, clarifying strategic requirements, explaining complex ideas clearly, and managing overall expectations
  • Direct the organization’s PR efforts and manage partnerships with pro bono marketing firms and volunteers
  • Develop and build positive relationships with media and industry partners in support of the development team’s fundraising goals
  • Compile all quarterly planning documents and materials
  • Manage the tracking, reporting and measurement of initiatives, providing proactive direction for quick adjustments and future strategies
  • Create campaign budget documents for cost analysis; update costs for program analysis
  • Ensure deliverables meet all requirements set forth in briefs and are completed by deadlines
  • Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes
  • Clearly communicate changes, issues, and resolutions to the tactical and executive teams
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose new and innovative solutions for organizational success


  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing with at least 3 years managing a marketing team
  • Four-year college degree required, concentration in marketing or public relations preferred
  • Proven track record in building, executing, and delivering high impact, ROI-driven acquisition campaigns
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, SalesForce, SQL, MixPanel, TagManager, Google Adwords, Facebook Power Editor, and DSP software
  • Experience forecasting demand and managing a budget per channel on a monthly basis
    Experience working in a startup or similar environment
    Willingness to be hands-on with campaigns – constantly building, optimizing and testing new channels/initiatives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
